| Was looking for a hotel close to campus to visit my son. While this is not the most modern facility, it was completely suitable for my needs. 2 minutes from campus, clean rooms with comfortable beds, and very pleasant staff. I will definitely stay here again. |

| Stayed here for an interview at Duke. It was super close and convenient so would recommend based solely upon location. Facilities were not in the best repair-electrical sockets were kind of falling out of the walls in a number of spots and it seems to be a bit older of a hotel. It was sufficient though. |

| This is the closest hotel to the Duke Clinic, VA Hospital and Duke University. The hotel provides free shuttle service to all the above. The driver will pick you up as well, and gives you a handy card with their number to call when you are ready.
The hotel itself has undergone significant improvements since last year. The restaurant serves decent breakfasts, made to order, and all the staff were helpful and courteous. My only suggestion is more variety in their pillows, which were a little high for my sleeping comfort. |

| The hotel is very convenient to the hospital and the interstate highways. Will stay there again if the need arises. |

| 1. heater in room could not be adjusted.. room was too hot (had to be over 80 degrees) and atmosphere too dry. We did turn unit off however it ran no matter what we did.
2. microwave wouldn't pop corn packet we brought. It popped about 1 handful.. and unit couldn't be adjusted.
3. frig door needed to be propped closed.. opened very easily.
4. I booked a deluxe standard double that advertised club chair.. room had table and 2 chairs.. Someone needs to update website accurately.
5. person booking room didn't have any information.. I needed to call hotel directly for information re closeness to facility, directions and restaurant locations. |

| I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. For those who have to visit patients at Duke hospital it is perfect. You can make it by foot even if it snows, as there's an underground passageway opposite. I suggest skipping the hominy grits unless you know them already, otherwise it's great. Room assistants polite and efficient and the car park in the dawn's early light is worthy of a painting by Edward Hopper. |

| This hotel should be used by anyone interviewing at Duke medical center, and probably by most people who need a hotel on the Duke Campus. Its no frills, but has wifi, clean and comfortable rooms. Got a great night of sleep, and the bathroom/shower was very good. |
