| You won't find a hotel this affordable so close to UNC Chapel Hill. It's nothing fancy, but perfectly serviceable. The main issue was that since all rooms open onto an open air hallway the room was quite cold. Running the heater all the time seemed like a waste and was noisy. Some better weather stripping seems to be in order. |

| Roomwas pleasant and hotel was in a quiet area. The room was alittle "musty" smelling but after running the ac for 15 minutes it cleared up. |

| This hotel met our expectations. Our one-night stay was pleasant, and the front desk clerk/manager was friendly and accommodating. We had a very restful night -- quiet, no traffic noise, etc. |

| We chose the Days Inn on Fordham Blvd because of its close proximity to the UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center. We also chose it because of the rate that was advertised on line. |

| This Day's Inn is basically what you'd expect for a Day's Inn: a cleanly, no-frills, inexpensive place to stay. The location is convenient enough to the UNC campus, and there is ample parking.
The front desk attendant was very friendly and willing to help us with information about local restaurants, etc.
The only surprise was that this hotel has motel-style room doors that open to the outside. Not that this is a serious issue, as the neighborhood is safe. It just wan't expected.
I'd recommend this hotel for visiting UNC. |
