Recent Days Near Duke Review: "We stayed for about 3 days. It was a well-kept hotel. The service was excellent. The front desk staff helped us with directions multiple times. The only negative critique I have was that the check-out time is really 11 a.m. instead of noon. So at 11:20 a.m., we get a call from the front desk, asking if we are planning on staying another day. Of course we weren't, and they did not charge us for the extra day because of the misunderstanding. I do hope, though, that this website and others like it will change the check-out time as to not cause more confusion. Overall, a wonderful deal!!"

| I booked this hotel because of the proximity to the event I was attending and the low cost. A roommate and I were not planning on spending much time at the hotel except to sleep, so cheap was appealing. The size of the room and the unadvertised amenities (such as a free breakfast and WiFi) were pleasant surprises. The general upkeep of the hotel is what you might expect for such low rates, but if you're just there to crash, I recommend it highly. |

| The room was clean, the staff was friendly, nice free breakfast, big screen tv in the room was a nice bonus. I doubt you could find a better hotel for the money paid. |
