| But the rooms are awfully dated, at least mine was. The bathroom was very small and cramped, the shower head was leaking while also having low water pressure. The handicap handles that are required in the tub were in a very awkward position making showering interesting. The towel hangers in the tub were too low which caused me to bump my head when entering. Considering that the mounting bolts were loose and right beside other holes, I can tell that I was not the first to do this. The toilet would very often not stop running or wouldn't actually flush. The AC unit would run constantly but never really cool the room down.
Due to my travels, I've stayed in a lot of rooms from 2 up to 5 stars. I would not rate this hotel as a 3 star based on what other 3 stars provide and I sure wouldn't rate it higher than 3. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff was very helpful. I just wish that they would spend some coin to get the rooms brought up to the same standards as the rest of the hotel. |

| This is a charming, older hotel that appears to have been recently renovated. The picturesque courtyard was great, and the fitness center was state-of-the-art. The staff was very friendly & accomodating. I do wish there'd been a hot tub, but that was the only drawback. Very convenient to the interstate! |

| Was there for daughter's DUKE graduation. Very easy to get back and forth to Durham. Service was friendly yet professional! Very helpful with advice on finding services in the area. Poolside lunch was perfect, including champagne! Food was good...price was right. Booking on line, early..was KEY to a great price on a great room. THE best time ever! |

| I visited this Hilton on my honeymoon night. I go inside to check-in and the guy at the counter pays me little attention and ends up giving me one of their least nicest rooms. There is also no one at all to offer and help us with our bags. Normally I don't care about this kind of stuff, but this was the one night in my life that I actually needed a nice room. Luckily before we got to our room this friendly lady walks up and is upset that he gave us such a bad room. She goes back to the front desk and has our room changed to something nicer. If not for her this review would have been a lot different. |

| rooms remind me of a old motel. with new counter tops. not what i have seen at other hiltons. our bread on our sandwiches had mold on it as well. not a big fan of that. |

| We stayed here for a family wedding, and the front desk (and bar service) was great. I had two different reservations booked under my name, and I would have had to switch rooms after the first night, but the staff was very accommodating and made it so I could stay in the same room without any hassle. The restaurant staff seemed short and overworked the first night we were there, but overall it was a great hotel. |
