Recent Homestead Research Review: "The only thing I had a problem with is the hot water faucet in the bathroom, it would spin completely around, and at one point, on the day we were leaving I couldn't turn off the hot water, Oh and I also didn't like the shower curtain, that thing wouldn't stop touching me during my shower Ughh! So I think they should get the curved shower rods. What I loved about the room is having a kitchen area, and the room had plenty of space for me."

| If all you need is a place to sleep before getting back on the highway, Homestead Durham Research Triangle Park serves its purpose. The lady who checked me in was pleasant and helpful.
There is a nice plus in that there is a refrigerator and freezer as well as a two-burner stove top, but that is it. (Fridge leaks, but that is a specific complaint about that one item in that one room.)
Towels are small and scratchy and shampoo is not provided - something the website also fails to mention. Clearly this is an old property that has been maintained as much as it has to be. I did not get a sense of cleanliness.
Upon check-in, I discovered my room had no remote for the TV nor a telephone. I had to return to the building where I checked in to use the phone attached to the outside of the building to call the on-call staff person, who arrived shortly to give me the missing items. |

| Everthing was okay until I went to use the bathroom sink and the water would barely come out. The second issue was when I was checking out. They changed me for 2 nights when My room was already covered by a traveling partner. We had separate rooms and they ask for my credit card for security reasons. I'm on working on being refunded. |

| Perfect location for getting to the airport (about 10 minutes away). Friendly after-hours staff. The room was fairly clean. But a great choice for the money. Would not recommend for a long stay, but for one night, it was great. |

| Quiet and comfortable. Hotel staff was helpful and polite. Small kitchen was well laid out and useful. Area lacks restaurants. The listing for this hotel suggested that it had its own restaurant-- It doesn't. |

| Value - no frills, but clean and well kept. Simple cleaning policy 1x per week, but it was sufficient. Price was excellent for single traveler. |

| The room was great in size. All appliances worked room and room was clean. Maid Service..... Was none. No fresh towels, trash was not picked up and nothing was refilled. Called the front desk for extra towels and was told that they only give fresh towels or maid service to customers who stay 3 or more days, So if you are only planning on staying 2 days you better bring some towels and extra toiletries. |
