| The lobby was gorgeous and it was close to our destination--the Carolina Theatre. The parking was across the street and behind a building, but your hotel key was the parking gate pass. We stayed on the 6th floor, so we were able to at least keep an eye on our car from that distance. We asked for a king bed, but received 2 doubles instead. It was a little cramped, but thank goodness we only had to stay a night! The view was nice from the window and there were many amenities (although we did not partake in any except the bar). The front desk staff were nice and even had suggestions and a map for dinner out on the town. Overall, great place to stay. |

| Beautiful hotel, super-friendly staff, beautiful rooms with amazing views. Parking is a little difficult, but it is downtown Durham, at least it's free and guaranteed. |

| We have stayed in the Durham Marriott Center City several times when attending programs and events in Durham. The staff is always helpful and especially friendly. The attached Civic Center portion of the building was under construction this time, which was a slight inconvenience, but not disruptive. |

| Very satisfied both my wife and I liked the over all settings First impression of the Hotel was a "10". The front counter was all smiles and great attitude. Vallet parking was impressive. The room was beautiful, and comfi. The resturant was exellent. Wonderful hotel to stay in for just a get-a-way or for Business travel. This hotel needs to be rated 5-Star. |

| There is no parking under the hotel or attached. Parking is across the street and down the hill in a small lot that requires your room card to access, but is not very secure. Anyone can easily walk into the lot and there were no surveillance cameras that I could see.
There is no pool in the hotel. I heard from others staying in the hotel that guests can go across the street to the local YMCA to swim if they want.
There is no complimentary breakfast as with many hotels. Breakfast was available as room service or in the dining room, for a fee.
The room itself was nice. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it either. |
