Recent Red Roof Chapel Review: "My daughter and I stayed here last week and were very pleased with the room, mostly it's location and cleanliness. I've stayed in hotels at 3-4 times the daily rate and I can honestly say it is just as good. Just doesn't have all the bells and whistles like hairdryers, irons, and breakfast. I'm fine with not having to pay for those things. The shower had lots of pressure, bed was comfortable, and room was nice and quiet due to the area it is located. I would stay here again in a minute!"

| I had a very nice stay. The hotel was in a great location. The room was spacious and the bed was HUGE! For the price I paid it was definately very comfortable. I would definately stay here again. |

| The room had a severe musty smell, and the humidity in the room made the bedding feel damp. Running the A/C did not seem to improve the situation. Overall, this was a sub-par Red Roof location. |

| Was a nice motel, but the entrance is hidden. Coming north you do not see a sign or even the motel until you have passed the access road. Better sign placement could fix this. |

| Overall, this hotel was okay. However, I feel that for the price of the room per night warranted a little more to the room. There was no iron or blow dryer, nor was there even a tissue box. I have stayed in motels that were cheaper that had all of those things. The neighborhood was a little on the scary side as were some of the other tenants. If I were to go back to the area and stay in a hotel again, I would not choose to stay there. |

| Not the best location, but for the price hard to beat. Wifi was included, but you had to get an access code from the front which was annoying. Pretty much a standard room at a budget rate. |

| I was taking my little sister to visit some Southern colleges and this hotel's location between Chapel Hill and Durham made it an ideal place to spend the night. The room was clean and cheap--perfect if all you need is a clean bed and a clean shower. I would recommend this hotel to others. |

| The hotel was convenient to the road and you couldn't beat the price. However, more than one of my colleagues commented that the lack of lighting around the property, the number of people loitering outside of the hotel at all hours, the fact that all rooms open to the exterior rather than a protected hallway, and the seclusion from the road made them feel very unsafe. One person cancelled her reservation after she arrived and saw the hotel. The woman at the service desk put me on hold when I called to ask for directions and the sign to the hotel was blocked by a semi-trailer, making it difficult to see from the road at night. The line was disconnected before she picked it up again and I had to find my own way. The room was clean and sparsely but adequately furnished. Bring your own toiletries & blowdryer. I would probably not stay here again. |
