| Rug needed to be vacuumed, ceramic floor tiles in bathroom were loose and wobbled as you walked on them.
TV armoir showed plenty of wear dings, dents and scraches -- some of which could have been taken care of with some "dark stain" furniture polish and the overall appearance of the furniture would have looked 100% better.
This rental filled the need for a short term stay, convenient to the area, just off the highway which is why the room was booked. |

| Hotel is a good value for your buck. Close to Duke Medical and Downtown Durham. Rooms were clean, housekeeping friendly and helpful. |

| We came into town to see a concert at the Durham Performing Arts Center and to visit a friend in the Duke Medical Center.The room was clean and in decent shape.We were only about 4 miles from either destination,making it quite convenient.The staff was friendly.Overall,a great value for the price paid. |

| The price was good for this room and overall it was clean, pretty quiet, and accessible from highway. I did not have a car when staying here and it is over a mile to the nearest restaraunt or convenience store. There was one fairly significant negative about this hotel concerning potential safety. On one night of my stay the hotel was surrounded by about 20-25 police officers, presumably they were looking for someone at the hotel (I didn't stay outside to find out!). I don't know if this happens with any frequency or if I just happened to stay on a weird night, but this seemed a little strange. Besides this one incident the hotel was quiet and seemed fine. |

| The hotel was easy to find, right off the interstate. When we checked in, there was a problem with a leak in the bathroom, but promptly taken care of by the hotel manager who even held another room for us in case the leak came back. He and his wife were so friendly and helpful, giving us restaurant tips and ideas of things to do.
The room had a fridge and microwave (awesome!) and the hotel offered a satisfying continental breakfast (cereal, milk, pastries, coffee, juice) that saved us money on our trip. Plus the hotel was less than 2 miles from everywhere we wanted to go in Durham. Convenient!
Seriously, the amenities and convenience of this Super 8 just can't be beat for the price! |

| Good hotel for the price. Clean room. Good service. Sufficient place to stay for an overniter. Easy access to the Duke U lacrosse field (Duke beat then #1 UV, by the way). Overall satisfied. |

| I think the title says it all... The price is right, and the room was big, clean, and appropriately furnished. Free Wifi was a nice touch. The location, however, is sketchy. It is close to Duke's East Campus, but those familiar with the area know that this is not the friendliest of neighborhoods. The price, however, was fantastic, so I would recommend the hotel, just pay attention and be careful entering and exiting at night time. |
