| If you want to go to Duke U. or have to go to the hospital, that's ok. The rooms are ok (actually quite big) and clean enough (even if the towels are almost transparent and a bit rough). BUTs: 1) the breakfast is ridiculous (tiny pastries, tiny bagels, bad instant coffee); 2) you have to walk 15 minutes to find a place to eat (or go the restaurant of the nearby hotel); 3) the internet connection is a total joke; unreliable most of the time, the rest of the time it does not work; 4) the people at the front desk are indifferent. |

| Room was nearly twice as large as the average hotel room. Location across the street from Duke Hospital and a few blocks from Duke Univ. campus was perfect. Free shuttle to and from campus was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely stay here again for my next campus visit, and I would definitely stay here if I ever needed to be near the hospital.
There are some signs that this is an older hotel that could stand a bit of updating, but its pros far outweigh its cons. |

| The University Inn at Duke Hospital,was very close
to the Hospital Clinic. We were able to walk to the Hospital,and it fit my needs for these tests. |

| This hotel was fine for what we needed it for - an overnight stay to visit Duke University. Rooms were large. |

| This is a very clean, economical and comfortable hotel by Duke University. They have a shuttle to all points of the university, which is convenient. The price includes a simple but satisfying breakfast. They had 3 types of cereal, muffins, bagels, juice, coffee and milk. |

| Front desk staff were helpful and courteous. Close to downtown Durham area.
But, upholstered chair in sitting area in room had broken back that was not noticeable until you sat in it. Under sofa needed cleaning. Tub water stopper didn't work; couldn't take a bath. Parking was tight; normally only have room for one vehicle per room; fortunately we could park both cars as they were not fully booked. Otherwise a nice room with a refrigerator and an extra (small) sink in the room itself. |

| This hotel was just fine for my needs. Not fancy, and the staff were not very professional or helpful, but I did not require much assistance, so it was not a problem. The building is in serviceable condition. It doesn't look super nice, but it's functional and clean. The room was spacious, the internet access was fast, and the hotel was quiet. The continental breakfast had very few choices, but was decent. This isn't a fun place to stay, but for my business trip, which involved working on the Duke campus, it was cheap and reasonable. |

| This hotel is next to the Brookwood Inn. We have stayed ln both. The University Inn is supior. They offer weekly rates,, the rooms are larger,and personnel are very helpful. |
