Recent Washington Duke Golf Club Review: "Great room, comfortable bed. Small pool, but very few using it. Small workout room, but for another $10 you can walk to the Faculty Club. Extensive walking/jogging path runs through the Hotel's parking lot. Front desk very responsive to our requests for assistance/information. The golf course operation is located in the hotel. Golf course has a great  layout. Bunkers are in good condition. Greens, however, were slow and showed few signs that anyone had fixed a ball mark for weeks. There were other comparable greens at other courses in the area for one third the cost. How about a free divot repair device in exchange for the sunstantial green feer Range ball dispenser cannot give you change and the divot repair containers on the range were empty on the first day. The course has a dog to chase away the geese, but he needs an operation and it would be nice if you would give Duke the money to pay for it."
